THE ENFORCEMENT TEAM ARE HERE IN OSUN STATE TO SANITIZE THE COURIER AND LOGISTIC BUSINESS.

Based on the approval of the Postmaster General of the Federation, Mrs.Tola Odeyemi, the Enforcement Team of Courier and Logistics Regulatory Department (NIPOST)which comprise of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Police officers from Osun State Command and gentlemen of the press, sealed several Courier and Logistics offices in Oshogbo,the Osun State Capital today 25th July 2024
After the clampdown exercise in the state,the General Manager, Courier and Logistics Regulatory Department, Mr. Gideon .O. Shonde addressing journalists and the culprits emphasized that NIPOST is not in the state to kill genuine business but to sanitize the industry and get rid of illegal/unregisrered/ unlicensed operators.
Most of the illegal operators engage in carrying illicit drugs, small and ammunition, obscene, and other prohibited items, according to the General Manager.
Therefore, he advised the Nigerian public not to patronise unlicensed, unregistered, and illegal operators as this has dire consequences.
He declared that any interested private investor in the Osun State should follow the due process by obtaining a grant of operating license from the Federal Government (NIPOST)before venturing into the business.
