Courier and Logistics Operating licenses were presented to some newly registered and licensed companies  yesterday, thursday 21st March 2024. 

 

The General Manager, Courier and Logistics Regulatory Department, Mr. Gideon Oludotun Shonde warmly welcomed the new investors/business promoters to the Nipost board room

in Lafiaji Obalende Lagos, where the official event took place.

 

One (1) International category, three (3) National category, and (13) thirteen State/Special SME’S Category operating licenses were presented.

The GM(CLRD) advised the new investors/operators to abide by the rules and regulations of the courier and logistics business in Nigeria. 

 

The main lecture of the program was presented by Barr. O. Mariam jogai, AGM (Legal Services and Compliance),

and the title was "REGULATORY GUIDELINES AND THE COURIER INDUSTRY". 

 

The business promoters were given the opportunity to ask questions, and they were answered, with the video presentation of the milestone achievements of the Department since 2020.

 

Goodwill messages were offered by Mr. Ankit, Managing Director of Moto Africa service limited (BAJAJ PULSAR) and Engr. M.B. Bajulaye, 

a director from the Lagos State driver Institute (LASDRI), Oshodi Lagos.

 

Finally, operating licenses and certificate of  attendance were presented to them investors. 

 

Mr. Dele Ogunleye of Goflexnow Limited, one of the business promoters at the event, said the vote of thanks on behalf of the new investors and licensees.
