By statutory provisions and the extant laws, one of the core mandate as established under Regulatory 7 of the Courier and Logistics Regulatory (operations) guidelines include MONITORING the practice and REGULATING the operations  for strict compliance with the relevant  operational guidelines in Nigeria.

The MONITORING TEAM of the Courier and Logistics Regulatory Department (CLRD) NIPOST commenced 

their monitoring activities of some licensed companies in Lagos.

 

Though the exercise is usually impromptu in nature, some of the companies visited will be issued certificate of compliance for noted areas of quality of service while some will be issued certificate of non compliance for operational deficiency where discovered. 

The necessary report will be submitted yearly to the office of  the Postmaster General of the Federation/CEO for required action.
